MSA U16 Girls opened their season at home versus new opponents Billingham. The game was closely contested, which we love to see; and only one goal separated the teams until the final 10 minutes of the game.
Ava had a great game in net for us and Captain Emmi contributed 4 goals. Learn to Play graduates Cyd and Maisee played their first ever games of hockey.
MVP went to Alexis, who scored 2 goals on her full MSA debut. The Hardest Worker was awarded to Olivia, who has made brilliant progress over Summer and was one of several MSA players to play this game back-to-back after taking part in the first ever league game for the newly-formed Manchester Storm Women’s team.
