Our U14A team wrapped up 2025 with a match against ourn rivals across the Pennines: Sheffield Academy. The game was a tough contest, with both teams battling it out until late third period. Sheffield’s large rink is always a challenge, and they used the space well, putting us under pressure throughout the game.
Standout performances came from Jacob, who scored a hat-trick and earned MVP honors, and Daniel, who delivered yet another outstanding performance in goal. Huey also showed composure under pressure, calmly converting a penalty shot to keep the game close.
The team then headed into the Christmas break, recharging for the next challenge of an away game against the Kingston Sharks in early January.
