Our U16s travelled across the snow-topped peaks to face Yorkshire rivals Sheffield and came away with a strong 5-2 victory for Manchester Storm Academy!
We welcomed James back on defense, where he linked up superbly with U14s star Emmi to form a shutdown pairing. Harvey was rock-solid once again between the pipes, anchoring the net with big saves and leadership from the crease.
Heath opened the scoring (as he so often does!) to give us the early lead ⚡He wasn’t done there – Heath added another breakaway goal later in the game, finishing with 2 goals and 2 assists. With these contributions, Heath now sits back at the top of the U16s league scoring race – what a statement!
Oscar (U14s) stepped up huge on the top line, burying a crucial goal to extend our advantage and nearly adding another on the same shift. Pure momentum swing – massive first U16s goal for him!
Game Captain Johannes was electric: he turned a deceptive dump-in into a rocket from centre ice for one beauty, then added a bar-down stunner later. Johannes finished with 2 goals and 2 assists for a dominant 4-point night – leadership, skill, and ice-cold finishing on full display.

Hardest Worker: Oscar 🏅
In the post-match dressing room celebrations, Johannes awarded the Hard Worker Medallion to Oscar for his standout performance and first U16 goal while playing up – richly deserved!
Huge credit to our other U14s who travelled and delivered: Alex, Fletcher, and Heiko – you were outstanding, and this win belongs to the whole group.
