MSA U19s faced Whitley Bay for the second time this season, the prior match having gone 9-1 in favour of the opposition. A goal against after just 6 seconds was a less than ideal start for MSA, but they settled into the game as the first period progressed and went into the break trailing 4-2 (MSA goals from Lucas & Vilem).
The second period was much more even with a goal apiece (Heath finding the net for MSA), whilst both sides struggled to maintain momentum in a game strewn with penalties.
Still trailing by 2 going into the final period, MSA went on to score 3 unanswered goals (Alex, Zayn and a 2nd for Lucas) giving the home side the lead for the first time in the game at 57:43. Whitley were not done though, replying with a 6th goal of their own 24 seconds before the buzzer. Final result 6-6, SOG 43-39.

Zayn had a solid performance and a goal on his debut.
