The Storm U14As side faced a strong Leeds team on this away fixture. Despite a very short bench of only two lines available, the team battled hard and kept the game competitive for much of the game.
Storm spent large stretches defending against pressure from Leeds but showed resilience and teamwork with the match remaining close until the second half of the third period, when Leeds were able to extend their lead and secure a 5-2 win.
Heiko was MVP for us with an excellent defensive performance and Daniel earned the Hardest Worker award for an outstanding performance in goal with a set of impressive saves to keep Storm in the game.
