Manchester Storm U19s put in a determined performance against local rivals Widnes, battling hard from the first puck drop to the final buzzer. Despite the result not going Storm’s way, the team showed resilience, commitment and plenty of character throughout.
Johannes got Storm on the scoreboard with a crafty snapshot from a distance, giving the side a much-needed goal.
MVP was Heath for an outstanding all-round performance, leading by example across the ice.
Hardest Worker was Heiko, who stepped up from the U16s and gave an impressive display.
