Despite being short-benched and welcoming a few newcomers into the lineup, the team battled hard throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Heath got us off to a dream start with a superb one-time slap shot on the powerplay to open the scoring \u26a1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Solihull fought back, but Heath struck again on a clinical breakaway to tie it up at 2-2 heading into the third period.<br>The home team took control in the final frame with a run of goals that we couldn&#8217;t match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\"><strong>MVP: Heath \ud83c\udfc5<\/strong><br>A standout performance with both goals, keeping him firmly in the top 3 of league scoring. Massive well done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Big shoutout to our goalie Harvey who fought valiantly back from the crease all game \u2013 he needed a few more from the offense to keep us in it, but his effort was top class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:0\"><strong>Special mentions to the newcomers who stepped up:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">U14s goalie Daniel, who brought his player skates and a proper stick to pitch in as a forward \u2013 absolute warrior spirit!<br>Jasmine making her U16s debut \u2013 great to see you out there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">Proud of the fight shown by every player despite the challenges.
