It was a tough contest and one that provided some valuable lessons about the demands of competitive hockey. We were slow to get going and didn\u2019t engage until the third period, by which point the game had slipped out of reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solihull were well organised and consistent and highlighted the importance of being mentally ready and prepared from the opening face-off.
